Do you deal with online printing only?

Why should I order my printing from you?

Do you have your own presses?
We don’t have our presses – we are an online shop. But we believe this is an advantage rather than a weakness. We work with 6 different printing companies to guarantee you the best price and quality available in Ireland.
What if I cannot find the type of printing I am looking for?
You can call or email us providing the details of what are you looking for and we will get in touch with you as quickly as possible.
Pricing
Are prices shown excluding VAT?
The prices shown are excluding VAT, but VAT value and total price including VAT and Shipping charges are shown in the Order Preview page before selecting the payment method.
Can you guarantee the best prices in Ireland?
We can guarantee the best compilation of prices, coupled with great customer service and printing quality. Although some competitors may have cheaper deals, we can provide the whole package, affordably and professionally. Please read more here about the advantages of choosing us!
What if you change the price during the order processing?
We promise never to change the price once we have agreed it with you – we will always charge you the price of the product at the time of ordering.
I can't find the product I am looking for?

Artwork
Can I upload my own artwork?
Yes, you will be able to upload any artwork you like after you have select your desired printing product.
I want you to design the artwork. How can I send you all the information (text, images, etc)?
After you choose the desired product to print, please select Design Charges. After you complete paying procedure, you will be able to send all the info by email: design@printinghouse.ie
If I want to use my own artwork, where can I find the required specifications?
All the required specifications can be found in the Easy Steps > Preparing Artwork section.
And if I am using my own artwork where can I find the required technical printing templates?
All the required templates can be found in the Printing Templates section.
Do you have any pre-designed templates?
No, we don’t have any pre-designed templates, because, as we say, we don’t want your business card to look exactly like the guy next door’s. We want your prints to be original, professional and targeted to suit your needs. That is why we don’t offer any design templates, but a professional bespoke design service.
How much do you charge for design?
Rates will vary depending on type of design you need; an A5 flyer is generally charged at €30, while 16 page A4 booklet is €200. All the charges are clearly shown in every product page.
Payment Methods
How do I pay for the services?
You may pay online through the PayPal system or directly with your credit card. We accept main types of credit cards in Ireland: Visa & MasterCard. We will also accept cheques and direct bank transfers.
Why should I pay online?
If you pay directly through the PayPal system, we will reward you with bonus credit for your next print. To find more about discount system, please refer to our Bonus Credit section.
Do I have to pay the full amount upfront?
If you cannot or don’t want to pay for the services online, we draw up a contract with you outlining the terms of the agreement and payment. In general, we ask for a 30% deposit upfront, before starting with design or/and print. We can provide up to 30 days payment credit for the balance of the payment.
Remember though, only those who pay online or by cheque/bank draft all the amount upfront will avail of the bonus printing points!
I want to pay by cheque or bank transfer. Will I avail of bonus points?
Yes, If you pay by cheque or bank transfer, we will wait for payment appear in our accounts. Once this happens, we will start processing your order and you will earn your bonus points which you will be able to use for your next order..
I don’t have a PayPal account; can I still pay online and avail of the bonus credit system?
Yes, you can pay by PayPal even if you don’t have a PayPal account!
Is it safe to pay through www.printinghouse.ie using the PayPal system?
Definitely! PayPal is the safest way to do online transactions. You can read more in our PayPal Help Section.
Printing & Delivery Estimates
How do I know the printing & delivery estimates for the products I want to order?
After you select the products you want to print you will be transferred to the Checkout page. Following this page there will be a Payment page where you may select the type of payment you prefer. The printing & delivery estimate is on the top right corner of the Checkout & Payment pages.
It says: Order estimate: 3 working days. Do you calculate in the day the order is made?
No, we calculate full working days for print and delivery, i.e. If you order on Monday, the print will be delivered on Thursday to the address provided.
If I order two types of print, i.e Flyers (3 working days) and Brochures (4 working days), when will I receive the order?
We take into account the print with the longest order estimate. In this case it will be 4 working days.
Does the order estimate include a design service?
No. We calculate order estimates from the time the artwork is approved by the customer.
Do you guarantee the proposed order estimate?
The order estimates are calculated on our long term experience dealing with printing orders. However we cannot guarantee that all the orders will be delivered exactly as proposed in the order estimate. Please allow an extra 1-2 days for guaranteed print and delivery.
You were late delivering my order. Can I get a compensation?
All compensations of this nature are dealt on a customer by customer basis and depend on type of print and other factors.
Bonus Credit System
How does the bonus credit system work?
The credit given depends on the amount spend on your last transaction, and bonus points are given towards your next printing purchase. 1 Bonus Point = €1.
For example, for every purchase of €601 you will receive 25 bonus points or €25 towards your next purchase, for €1501, you will get 42 bonus points. The more you earn – the more you save!
Can I pay in full for printing using only my bonus credits?
If you wish, you may fully cover the cost of your next print – no restrictions are applied. For example, if you have saved €150, so you can pay for 500 business cards costing €145.80 (€120 +VAT) using only bonus credits!

Delivering
How will I receive my order?
The prints will be delivered to the address provided in your personal account.
Can you send the prints to a different address other than my account address?
Yes, simply put in a new address while ordering the printing.
How much do you charge for delivery service?
We charge very competitive prices for all delivery services for as low as €10 + VAT. We deliver all printing orders nationwide. Please call us for delivery charges outside of Republic of Ireland.
Can I collect the print order myself?
Unfortunately we cannot offer printing collection services.
Returns
I am not happy with the printed work. What shall I do?
If you have any queries or complaints, they should be directed to the company via e-mail at info@printinghouse.ie or by post to Mediahouse Ltd, 31 Clonroosk Abbey, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, Ireland
When can I report the complaint about printed work and return the product?
The fault must be registered within 24 hours of receipt of job. The customer may return the product that was purchased within 15 working days of delivery for a re-run of the job at no charge. No refund will be given.
Will I have to return a full run of the product?
In order to receive a replacement, you must return no less than 95% of the received product.
Will I have to cover the expenses of the return?
Yes, you will have to pay in full for the expenses related to the return of the faulty product.
Customer Account
What are the features of the customer account?
By creating your personal customer account you will be able to:
- Buy any services from printinghouse.ie.
- Add, view or delete Personal/Company information.
- View and track the orders.
- Print invoices and view basic account information.
- Collect and spend your Bonus Credits.
Will I be able to buy from the website without logging in to my account or as a guest?
Yes, you will have this option, but buying as a guest will mean you have to retype all of your personal details every time. It will also mean you won’t be able to collect or spend your bonus credits.
Marketing
If I create my personal account, will I receive unwanted information?
We have planned to release a biweekly newsletter covering the printing industry scene, company news, special offers and staff blog entries that will be sent to customers’ emails. Other than that, we won’t send you any advertising letters. You will also be able to easily unsubscribe from the newsletter, by un-checking the newsletter option in your personal account.

Resellers
I would like to resell your design and/or printing services. What benefits will I have?
You will operate the same price list as retail customer, but you will avail of much bigger bonus points towards your next purchases. For example for a purchase of €601, customer will receive 25 bonus points or €25, while broker will benefit of €126 of bonus points to use for the next purchase.
Where should I call If I want to become a broker?
You should send your CV or business description by email or by post and we will gladly accept your application if you meet our broker criteria.
